Hey folks, very long time since I posted here!
I had been wanting to attempt another space colony style concept for some time, but in this instance wanted to approach a different style to my previous 'New Eden' cylinder concept. So I decided to come up with my own take on a Stanford Torus colony. As the idea progressed, I felt that what I was now actually creating, was not merely a domicile for human habitation, but more of a holiday resort in space, which given the current drive by like Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic, and Elon Musk's SpaceX plans for accessable space travel, doesn't seem quite so 'science fiction' as it might at first appear.
I recorded the entire process, and created 16 hours of tuition for Maxon, which you can see at the links below!
You can read about the project here on my site: http://kromekat.net/portfolio/space-resortcolony-personal-concept-video-training-project/

Whoah! Long time indeed! 16 hours, well I got vacation so I'm going to have time to watch it all. As always your work is 'dripping' with quality.
So, is it a smelly place? I mean the figure on the left is pinching her nose. Broken airfilter somewhere?

This is awesome! Did you create this habitat yourself? Maybe that will be answered if I watch your video.
Many thanks! - yes, its all from scratch in C4D, using only C4D tools, other than the imported trees and figures, some of which are in the content library anyway. The whole process was captured to video. Its something Ive wanted to do for some time; create a detailed scene/image from scratch, allowing the viewer to look over the shoulder!

Blimey! There's a name from the past. I still remember the (forum) arguments I had with yourself and Cartesius. If only I could remember my old account name? I got out of 3D when I left the games industry back in 2007. You still working freelance?
