Man, I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to do any art for fun. This is one I've been wanting to do for a while. It took a lot of work putting the different elements together, including changing up some textures to get a black gryphon. Then after rendering, the feathers looked really lame, almost like the transmaps weren't doing their job. So, into Photoshop to try to do some painting - not one of my strong points, but something I've been meaning to practice. I'm actually pretty happy with the changes. So, yeah, Raven has a gryphon companion named First Queen. The two have mutual respect for one another as warriors, so the proud gryphon occasionally joins Raven in beating down bad things. W'rath being W'rath adopted Lady McDronzel (the chicken) as his companion just to be a smartass. He's quite pleased with the arrangement as he gets fresh eggs out of the deal.
