Description
"Drop your gun, far away!" Badu ordered.
JS obeyed.
"Now empty the clip. I want to see your thumb extracting every single round."
Tluck, tluck.
"Now throw the clip away."
JS threw the clip.
"Now your knife."
In a flash JS wondered whether he could take Badu, but Badu's finger was ready. JS dropped the dagger.
"Good!" Badu grinned. "I hoped you tried to be clever. I like your attitude: you know how to die. I owe you that."
JS waved his hand in a mock gesture.
Far away in the hangar Eve closed her eyes. She didn't want to see Badu kill Jay. It was a silly thing, her mind would have seen it all the same.
"Jay ..."
No answer from JS. His mind was working feverishly, refusing to admit defeat.
"Now I'd like to pip you slowly, round after round, and watch your agony while I fuck Eve my way." Badu guffawed lecherously. "But I have a spaceship to take and it won't wait." Showily Badu pushed the safety catch to full-automatic. "I'll start from the groin, up to the head. It will be fun to smash that pretty face of yours."
"Fuck?" Lou Cyfer/G-1 exclaimed. "Do you want to fuck me, Sea?"
"Later." JS replied.
"Why?"
"Now I'm fucking someone else."
"What the fuck are you saying?" Badu yelled.
"Turn around and I'll show you." JS laughed.
For a moment Badu stared at him puzzled.
"Shit, he's nearly going to turn!" JS thought.
"Did you really think to fuck me? You're dead, Sea!"
"No! G-0 needs his body. You Earthling idiot!" G-1/Lou Cyfer yelled, deflecting Badu's burst. The shots went lost along the balcony missing JS by a hair's breadth.
"Bitch!" Gone berserk Badu threw down the discharged gun, grabbed G-1/Lou Cyfer's head and knocked her violently against the edge of a column. The head broke like a watermelon.
Seizing the moment JS jumped up and flung himself with all his weight against Badu slamming him hard against the wall.
Badu groaned in pain. JS tried to take him by the neck, but the blood made it a slippery grip.
Fear and anger seized Badu who managed to turn around. He placed a blow against JS hitting him on the wound in his side. JS replied with a series of punches at Badu's chest.
Now the two were fighting entwined, trading punches and blows, kicks and kneeings, whirling in a violent, deadly all-male waltz.
"All-male?" JS thought.
"Sorry." Eve mind-replied. "Break his ribs, they're already cracked!"
"That's the idea, but he doesn't cooperate."
The blows kept coming in quick succession. Sweat streamed down the blood soiling their faces and arms. The blood on the floor made their steps slippery foiling their moves. Badu's aim was JS's injured calf and naked feet, JS pounded Badu's ribs and face, yet both had been trained at the same school and knew how to ward the other’s hits off. Panting and grunting, they continued to fight until JS noticed a massive oak door with a protruding knob of solid bronze. Pirouetting like a dancer he brought Badu where he wanted, and then pushed him against the door ...
"Fuck!"
The door opened and they both hit the floor.
Clang!
Something inside the vast hall had fallen on the ground.
Crack!
JS heard distinctly one of Badu's ribs break, but his lung was unhurt.
Badu, in turn, was able to give a kick to JS's calf, so freeing himself from his grip.
The hall was decorated with suits of armor of various periods and one of them had fallen to the ground. Panting Badu reached it grabbing the sword on the ground.
Rolling on the floor, JS reached the Yoroi armor nearby, and helped himself to its katana.
Swash!
The blades clashed. Attack, parry.
"It's a matter of nerves: the attacker opens his guard, Eve." JS thought.
Badu was in a hurry. 3TC wouldn't wait for him and be left on the asteroid wasn't an option. Already he heard JS's men's shouts.
Badu attacked.
Swish. Swash.
JS's katana cut him from liver to pancreas. A waterfall of blood and guts followed the blade.
"If you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk!" JS said, closing Badu's dying eyes with a spit.
