*** Start of rant ***
In all honesty, I don't feel like I had any real good days as of late. Dealing with money issues, lethargy, serious family issues, and worrying about race relations in the US are getting in the way of my art. And while Loretta and Callie are awesome girls, I'm neglecting Wendacora and Tempestt. And there's still Shion and the Paklet matter...
I've already sworn off DeviantArt and Facebook for the time being. I'm reluctant to do likewise with Rendo. I feel this place is the most supportive of all of them.
Mike (Faemike55), Yves (Cyve), Steve (eekdog), Guildband, Rod (RodS,) Richard (RichardPhotos), Dave (magnus073), among others: you have really supported my art with your faves, ratings, and most important: YOUR COMMENTS. For that, I thank you greatly!
I don't want to bash DeviantArt, but I only get faves there. I hardly get any comments for my art or my journals. And there really isn't a community there like it used to be say twelve years ago. It's gotten too big and if you're not doing art of already established story universes (or *ahem* mature works) you're lost in the shuffle. (I've done my share of fan fiction art, which gained me watchers there. After a while though I feel a need to focus on my own creations.)
Anyway, maybe in a couple of days I can start working on art again. Right now though, I just feel like crap. Maybe that's necessary.

First and foremost, this is a great image of Loretta. She looks so sweet but not so innocent but, that's fine! She's so cute.
As to DA, I haven't been there in years, maybe, based on what you've written, it's probably for the best.
Sorry to hear that you're feeling bad. Maybe a few days off and just let the mind wander a bit, maybe read some Mark Twain's writings or maybe get a copy of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and have a great read. As for any TV, switch over to DVD and watch something light (Shrek or Ice Age or maybe some good ole action like the Borne Series). Me, I listen to some metal and for some reason, my troubles seem tiny. (maybe that's just me).
Anyway, take it easy and Metal on!

I know how you feel, bro - been there, done that... All of it. And yeah, it's pretty easy to get depressed with all the crap going down all over... Lots of stupidity, and worse, it's stupidity with an attitude... And the flames are constantly being fanned by the sensationalist media endlessly seeking higher ratings and more advertising dollars... Sometimes I just want to move as far out into the wilderness as possible to somewhat escape the madness. But I'd have to have my internet of course, so there ya go... And don't get me started on the upcoming election circus.... God help us all....
I have an account at DA, but don't go there as much as I'm here. I have a few folks following me there, mostly folks that follow me here! The only other site I'm active on is Fantasy Attic - lots of great folks there (most of whom are here, too).
Anyway, I enjoy your art, and your lovely ladies - and yeah, I wouldn't leave Wen out of the picture very long.... Who knows, she might get bored and join T.N.A. LOL
Hope you get to feeling better, Wesley - sometimes a bit of a break is just the tonic needed. Relax and enjoy, my friend! We'll keep your artist's spot at the table open for you.

very sultry fox and a great pose. sorry you are down in the dumps but things are bound to improve. things have gotten worse, but I think it is partially from more population. drugs have a large influence also. several things are out of control. each new shooting and or attack makes me sick to my stomach.
I think the media is partially to blame also, with so much coverage to mass shootings. it can give those with border line mental health a reason to be a copy cat. then more innocent people lose their lives

Loretta 04 is a beautiful little minx. A wonderful pose for this lovely lady! I can definitely relate to your experience at deviant art. After Renderositie's most recent changes, I became quite disillusioned and temporarily tried posting works at deviant. But it was like entering a waste land. Virtually no contact with anyone. I stayed there in protest to this site for about a month, then came back here and have been here since. Another thing I noticed about the deviant art site was that if I wasn't careful, I would pick up viruses. I don't know if they were from individual artists or what, but that made me leery of that site too. Well, I hope your crappy feelings dissipate and that your creative juices begin to flow more freely once again! Love all your work and am glad you continue supplying us with your creative genius! Bravo and many fine kudos from this very amateur artist.
