Description

Silence filled the room like a tombstone. For a brief moment Eve saw the closed door with the two guards in the depths of JS's mind. Quickly she banished the thought, she couldn't give away the slightest chink in her armor. Fiercely Eve looked at them with an implacable expression, the one she hoped would reveal nothing.
Unfortunately, she hadn't been able to conceal her distress completely.
Flaw was far too keen an observer and had caught the gleam of concern in her eyes.
"You know what he did!" he shouted preying on her like a vulture. "Do not deny it!" and turned to G15.
"There was an almost imperceptible peak, almost too short, but yes, the polygraph has recorded it. She was upset! "
The tension was palpable and the atmosphere of the room was crackling like a Tesla generator.
"Fuck! Who would have thought ..." Badu murmured.
Eve was staring at Flaw in the eye in a conflict of will, but Badu's words shook her and she retorted:
"Birds of a feather flock together! if Jay did this feat, his mother was a bastard like you for sure!"
Slap!
"Stupid chick!"
Losing his usual composure, Eros Flaw had slapped her. In that brief moment, Eve felt all his anger, his hatred ... and yes, even his despair.
"Mr. Flaw, I don't think this is the best way to convince Eve!" 3TC suggested with a so oily a voice that she could almost see the words slithering down his chin.
"Exactly." settled Lady G-8 while nodding to G-15. "There are other ways. In any case, we must proceed with the experiments. It's time to inseminate her with selected seeds."
G-8 had spoken Earthener so Eve could understand, but Eve didn't even have time to react as G-15 keyed his device.
An almost animal scream pierced her mind, a lament that expressed an excruciating pain, unable to bear.
"Mom!" Eve exclaimed. The cry resonating in her mind was certainly her mother's.
"What are you doing to her, you bastards!" Eve cried.
"She was no longer an asset." G-15 replied. "Take her back to her room."
While escorting Eve to her lodgings Badu's mind was working furiously.
"So you like the murderer sort. - Badu grinned involuntarily – Then I'm the right person. Now I must worm myself into her favor without the others noticing." Suddenly he had an idea. He took off his thought-blocker. "Your mother is in the basement." he said visualizing the path. "Surveillance will be sloppy tonight." At the door he slipped into Eve's hand a small piece of wire.
That night when Eve crept out of the room, Badu made sure to be in the control room, bringing Lou Cyfer for a bit of fun.
In the basement Eve recognized the security door: she had seen it and the code in G-15's mind. She punched in the code and entered. First she blocked the door so that no one could enter. In front of her it lay a big hall with tall columns, dark and silent. Between the columns there were some pods and inside the pods there were people.
"Mom!" She cried.
No reply.
Following the path of the pain Eve went to the pod keeping Sishia inside. Through the membrane she could see that her mom had been partially skinned. To her horror Eve realized that Sishia was also open from throat to groin and the sexual organs had been removed. After several attempts Eve managed to open the membrane.
"Mom, I'm here." Eve told again, trying to soothe the excruciating pain her mother felt.
"Kill me!" Sishia thought. She could neither speak nor see. "Kill me, please."
Eve wept and shook her head, but she could do nothing, just eliminate her pain. Forever.
"Do it, before they know you're here. Tell JS to avenge me. Forgive me, Eve."
"You didn't do anything wrong, Mom."
"Do it! Rip the pod cables and turn off the valve."
Crying Eve tore the cables and turned off the valve and her mind accompanied her mother’s last journey.
She heard a frantic banging and shouting at the door. She didn't care.
Out of the darkness a whisper came: "May you help me too? Giving me peace, I mean?"
