Description

"The Gray hag, has summoned you." Badu yelled, kicking the door open.
Eve winced at his voice as graceful as a drill sergeant's.
"Polite people knock before entering." Eve stated. She knew the thug was hoping to catch her undressed.
Badu sneered.
"I think the Gray crone will give you a good spanking for what happened in the lab. I'll be happy to administer the punishment." Badu said with a lewd grin, but it was the strain of his joy in inflicting pain that made Eve sick. Yet she retorted coldly:
"Do it, and you’ll turn your back on the ships forever."
"Has Sea ever spanked you?"
Eve didn't bother to answer.
"And you him, have you?" Badu insisted grabbing her wrist.
"JS is not a chap inspiring spanking. Period." Eve said frostily.
"Muahaha!" Badu showed her into the library.
"Badu handcuff and seat Eve in that chair." 3TC ordered.
The big shots were present in the room, and Desmond was nestled at the top on the balcony like a menacing gargoyle.
Badu forced Eve on the chair and got 3TC's hint placing himself in the armchair by the fireplace with the gun in his hand. Desmond was a threat that had to be kept in check.
G-15 approached Eve and placed a strange device on her head.
"It's a polygraph," 3TC explained smiling. "I'm sure you'll appreciate."
The Gray lord sat down on the couch and adjusted some parameters on the holo-interface at his wrist. Then he said something that Eve interpreted as: "We can start."
The bloody device began to hum.
"First we'll do some simple questions, just to calibrate our device. Since no one knows the S'skash language, Eve, we'll speak Earthener. Do you know how it works?" 3TC said.
Eve shook her head.
"Stop it!" G-15 shouted, "the machine may lose its fine-tuning."
Eve looked at him with a stupid blank expression, but her mind was working furiously.
"The best lie is that by omission. Modestly I think of myself as the king of liars." JS had grinned. "If questioned, tell them a regular amount of truth, just omit a thing here and there, some details, that on the whole build up your lie. If they use the polygraph, use your mental shield. Don't answer them, but reply to your own questions. That's it. Question: 'Have you betrayed us?' 'No.' but you're really replying to: 'Does someone bonk better than JS?'. 'Bragger' she had grinned back."
"What have you done?" Lady G-8 shrieked with a voice as pleasant as chalk squeaking on a blackboard. "Lady G-1 is dead and that ... that thing is just a mass of brainless flesh." And she pointed at Lou Cyfer crawling on the carpet and smiling as a daft.
An idiotic laugh echoed through the room: "I want my astroyacht!" Then her voice changed in a high-pitched croak like a parrot's scream and yelled some Gray sentences. The two voices began to fight, and went frantic like a crazy chorus of frogs and crickets.
"I didn't do anything." Eve replied but she thought. "Really are you thinking I'd help? then you're mad. I just gotta take time until Jay will come, bastards!"
"That's the point." Flaw intervened. "You haven't cooperated."
"How could I?" Eve retorted. "I've been brutally tied to that mind-cracker machine. Nobody asked me my advice! I told you it would be a disaster, you Mister I-know-it-all!"
"Then why?" 3TC asked. He was definitely the quietest of the group, apart from Badu who enjoyed himself from the backstage. Desmond however, excited by the hate discharges, was flapping his wings furiously.
"Mrs Cyfer resisted it with all her strength, her mind fought and Lady G-1's too." Eve yelled.
"Lady G-1? Can't be. She requested the experiment."
"Yet her deep mind refused that alien body. The Gray mind has different DNA, different receptors and different physiology than the human one. At the end, she fended against it, but part of her mind had migrated. Now she's dead and can't go back."
"If there is some DNA in common, can it work?" Flaw asked.

Cool pic! Interesting to use the Dali. I guess the Grays aren't so smart. All their plans seem to be backfiring now.Eve seems to have a strong mind to defend herself and JS should be there any moment now.

The great story goes on along with fabulous images. The cat and the girl make me think of "cat(ch) as cat(ch)"...Will we see a fight between 2 cats in the next creation ? A big bravo for this one.
