Description

At one time Syn had been fully human, although she had trouble remembering that life. Whether she was a warrior who was severely wounded in battle or an average person who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, she couldn't remember. All she knew was she was once human, and now she was not.
Vague memories of faces she couldn't quite place calling her by a name she didn't recognize faded in and out of her consciousness. She had asked one of the technicians who looked after her about the name, but instead of an answer he dismissively told her that name means nothing to her anymore and reminded her that she is a Synthetic and should have no questions about such things. So Syn learned to not ask questions and hide the emotions that she still felt, knowing her fate if those in charge found that she was different than the other Synthetics.
Syn was miserable, locked in the sterile room she knew as her "home". She wanted out, but she couldn't remember why, exactly. She only knew that she desperately wanted to leave that place. And then one day the tech in charge of looking after her got a message that upset him, and he ran out of her room, forgetting to lock the door behind him. Syn wasted no time leaving the room, taking great care to avoid any humans on her way out of the building. Finally Syn emerged into a world that she only had flashes of memories about.
Syn was free.
