Description

Here's a little something different... I've always been a fan of the Art Nouveau style, and I thought it would make a fun art project to do some images of the T.N.A. Girls and Friends in this style. The Girls thought it sounded like a good idea (any time they get a chance to show off a little, they're all over it...), and said they'd enjoy it very “Mucha.” So, here's G4 as our first T.N.A. Nouveau Girl, showing off her newest toy. The Hi-Tek Compund Bow is from FoRender.com.. G4 winked, and said “Katniss who??” I rendered G4 and her bow in Poser Pro 2014, then put all the elements together in Photoshop CC. Her gown was painted in Photoshop. All the background elements were painted/created in Photoshop with various shapes and brushes. Then I spent about 3 hours mucking around with various filters in Filter Forge – I had so many versions I liked, it was hard to pick one.. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. It's going to be fun putting a bunch of these together. Thanks as always for all the great comments on the last page in the story – lots more coming soon! I didn't check nudity as all Gee's charms are covered! I think you totally nailed the genre Rod. I like the slight posterization on G4; it really helps make her pop out, so to speak. Her painted dress is a marvel with all the folds and ripples in the right spots to create a 3d effect And great jjob on keeping that complicated hair from getting render tangled.

Oh wow! What a breathtaking image of your TNA star in Alphonse Mucha style art! It's a breathe of fresh air, the hair, flowing outfit, and just the overall look. You have captured the essence of the bygone era when art like this was used as a decorative elements in architecture and publishing. A personal fav! :-)

Oh man. The composition and elements of your design are a perfect homage to Mucha. Beautifully done! G4's hair winds around nicely, and you've even got the diaphanous gown going on. I got a good giggle out of your nod to Poser work, as well, with the boots and the big weapon. What a combination!

I thought about Faemike when I saw that compound bow, as he had one on one of his hunting trips. G4 is one lethal piece when she has to be! Looking forward to Ranpha in this style!

My, a sure change of style but with a certain conservatism concerning the motif! Excellent work, Rod. I saw a LOT of Art Nouveau when I was little in Philadelphia. It was in a sense my first exposure to art. Then we moved to the New York area and I didn't see much of this, but was exposed to other art forms, which piqued my curiosity. Thanks for bringing back old memories! I'll be looking for more of this type of art with you and the girls! Keep up the good work! :-)

PS - is that an explosive charge on the tip of the arrow? She's one lethal dame!

RodS

Yep - shaped charge designed to take down mechs and light armored vehicles. Body armor is no problem, either... Silent and deadly...

I'm gonna let the Mucha joke go, lol,, and say you did a terrrrrrific job incorporating Nouveau into the TNA world. This is beautiful, fun, funny, tongue-in-cheek and seriously sensual and rich. You incorporated all the elements beautifully, the cameo element, the highly ornate corners and floral work, the way she breaks out of the cameo, breaking through the confines, that great weapon (which fits right in), the border near the edges, and the poser-like boots and pose (as tara points out). A great job. Even the flowers in her hair and as necklace and as pattern on her gown and its edges are done right. Terrific job, Rod. Harmonious as could be!
