Description
The prominent pistil in this poppy is an attention getter. To the poppy on the right, all of the petals have dropped away and only the seed head is left. From the garden of my neighbor Bonnie. Zoom is best for details.
Some information on yesterdays posting - the gardener says that it is a Blue Eyed Beauty from the Ostedspermum family. This flower was in the shade today and the strange violet color was not there.
