Up north in the arctic Spacko scientists are searching for kryptonite,and other very precious ores.The rapiers are securing the perimeter,while the geologists are doing their job,marking the excavation sites,taking probes etc....

Very cool, and gives pause for thought. Our arctic/antarctic is protected from exploitation currently, but how long before greed sneaks in. I follow all the science teams currently in the antarctic, and it's amazing the amount of care that goes into protecting it. They have to carefully inspect/shower before stepping foot on the continent just to ensure they don't accidentally introduce a harmful seed/spore into the ecology. You can search 'antarctic web cams' on google. I watch them every morning to see what's going on. The sea-lions that come up to the research stations are my favorite.
