We had some strange weather as well today. Cold and raining for about half of the day and for the rest of the day clear sky's and much warmer. Amazing work Helle. God bless.

tara sees quilts, and denise sees muffin tins! I can see them too! (Well---if it were a quilt, it might make falling asleep a bit rough, lol, because these patterns are really electrified...) Helle I've been called away and I have to stop with this piece: But I will come back and do the others, I promise, including the ones before this (which I skipped today). But ok, I wanted to end with this because it's all black and white, and it's largely line work; and with that minimal means you made a rollicking zig-zaggy electric set of variations on a theme, and you got an almost pop-art piece, a bit cartoonish, a lot of fun, and filled with zebra patterns, lightning bolt patterns, little flower patterns, heart patterns, I don't know---triangle patterns, lol? Macaroni patterns? It's chock full! And the borders are all double cross hatch, and everything weaves into everything else---it's just delightful and a kind of eye-test (to see if one can look at it without things jumping out at one), and it's wonderful. I also like the title! Did you have, in Europe, "test patterns" on TV? In the early days of TV, TV stations would sign off right after midnight (sometimes earlier), and they'd have a blank screen until morning. So they put up these "test patterns," which were like the patterns here. I guess those patterns let you see how well your screen worked. And they'd play this awful hollow tone---high and penetrating---with the pattern. And those patterns would stay on your set for hours! Did you get those? Well this kind of looks like a bunch of test patterns! Fun and very creative. You're doing wonderful stuff, Helle, and it's a pleasure to see it keep coming and coming. You're exploring in so many directions! I love this. I'll be back for more soon, I promise.
