with those powerful hydraulics and forward facing structures, I think this is an orthoptera rather than gyro :) — lovely mechanism with those copper tones

Cracking copter and looks lovely in this render. The engineer on this one stole some modern airliner wheels rather than using the steampunk style ones, I guess because some hard landings have been planned for this adventuremobile.

My real life friends and family have labeled my work 'SteamFunk" ( spelled - Steamphunk ) because of my use of Modern and Victorian age parts in my creations. Im a Dumpster diver, and have been recycling other peoples discarded treasures for years. Years before Steampunk became a movement. My first Mod was in 1978 when I found a 1946 Philco floor model radio in the trash. I gutted it and then disassembled my Rouge 125 Watt guitar amplifier and mounted the components inside and refinished the cabinet. That's was the beginning of my "Tinkering" as my wife calls it. My creations at home all function and serve a daily purpose.
