Just quick recap. Batman left Robin and Hespira to find their way out and he returned to the lower computer room to find Julia. Before we go to Batman and Julia, we'll go to see what happened to Robin and Hespira.
When Bruce left, Jason and Hespira continued up until they reached the abandoned office. Jason peered out and at the moment all was clear. He led Hespira up and up again using the main steps to the roof, which doubled as a helipad. Waiting for them was the Hovbat and Batman waving to them.
“What's going on?” Hespira asked. “We just left him below, how'd he get here.”
“Don't worry, it's another friend in disguise. Let's just get out of here and you'll see.”
They ran to the waiting vertical takeoff jet and climbed in. “Hey JJ, thanks for showing up.”
“I'm glad I'm here in time Jason.” The voice didn't match the costume. “And who is this?”
Hespira stared as she climbed up.
“This is Hespira, an Amazon, this is not her real body either.” Jason answered for her.
“I see. Are you hurt?” Batman asked her.
“You already know.....Who are you?”
“C'mon! Let's go. I'll explain on our way out of here.” Jason exclaimed.
They settled in with Hepira and Jason sharing the back seat. It was cramped, but doable. Just as the canopy closed a blast of lightning energy hit the Hoverbat. Arc Angel, now sporting wings, came in and landed on the roof and moved towards the vehicle. The systems blinked for a moment, but the electrical shielding warded off most of the energy. J'onzz/Batman punched it and they took off straight up. Arc Angel followed.
“Bring weapons online and boost the meta shielding.” J'onzz commanded
“Done!” Jason said.
The form of Arc Angel came in to view. Large metallic wings glowing blue and and the electric blue glow that came from his body armor glowed strong. The staff he held was aimed at the Hovbat and electricity arced between the tines at the top end. A lightning bolt arced from the staff, connecting with the Hovbat. The engines held, but the on board systems blinked out and back on again. J'onzz didn't wait. He jetted straight up with the large mech following. He spun and dove then steered up again, managing to avoid another bolt of energy. J'onzz then dropped briefly then went up and backwards and as Arc Angel came into site he opened up the 50mm guns.
The mech glowed bright and bullets could be seen ricocheting off of him, but a few made contact sending up sparks and the mech into defensive maneuvers. But it didn't chase off the persistent enemy. He recovered and flew up to meet the black craft and faced off with it, his staff ready to unleash another bolt of energy.
J'onzz was a clever and capable pilot. He called out, “Hold on!” and he tumbled the craft sideways, then reversed the straining jet engines to full and came in below and behind the mech. Arc Angel had discharged a bolt again and missed and now was spinning to try to face the Hovbat again and got another dose of 50mm shells raked across him. His own shielding held, but was failing. Some of the bullets were getting through and causing damage. Luckily nothing vital yet. All the mechs were due for an upgrade according to the Doctor, but they had to get to her other secret lab for that.

Meanwhile down below on the ground, Tank and Reaper had appeared on the street. They fired a few shots at J'onzz and his crew, but to little effect. Just then, some large booms were heard and more rapid gunfire. Arc Angel sensed two large shell whiz by him, narrowly missing while the sound of helicopter blades beating the air suddenly became noticeable. He could see on the ground three tank transports and a battalion of heavily armed and armored security coming in and now firing on Tank and Reaper. Ripper showed up too, but so did another battle chopper. They were quickly becoming outgunned in their current hardware and weapons status. He called to Stealth and informed her of their current status as a chopper trained it's spotlight on him and the Hovbat rose up and fired again. Arc Angel got clipped, but managed to avoid the bulk of the assault as he jetted upwards at a great speed. “Stealth! We are outmatched. If we want to continue serving the good Doctor we need to get out of here now.” “Acknowledged. Contacting Scorn.” “Scorn?” Arc Angel thought the question rather than say it out loud. Ripper, Reaper and Tank were exchanging fire on the ground, but were being forced back and to take cover. Stealth's voice came through a moment later. “All retreat and make for the rendezvous point in Arkham woods. Break off now.” Arc Angel didn't need anymore orders and sped off at top speed. The other three mechs on the ground also took off at top speed, and they could move fast. The seemingly awkward and cumbersome Tank took off at a gallop and was as fast as an Abrams tank. Ripper and Reaper took off with great leaps and landed running. They were all out of sight in moments and in a few minutes off the grid. The choppers followed, but soon the mechs vanished from their tracking radar. Shielded no doubt. J'onzz kept his Batman illusion up and waved at one of the choppers and sped off to the Batcave. He tried to contact Batman, but presumably Bruce was in an area that still blocked communications. “Nice work JJ. You can really kick some ass.” And then he groaned a bit when he moved his arm. “Thank you Jason. We will be back to the cave shortly and see to your injury.” “No sweat.” And Jason passed out.
