Description
Taken with the Canon Powershot SX130IS on an overnight camping trip. This is Superstition Mountain outside of Apache Junction, Arizona. This is the gateway to all of the Lost Dutchman Mine legends and people die in the wilderness just about every year looking for it.

Impressive landscape, but the way the tip of the mountain just touches the edge of the photo frame detracts from it, IMHO. I would have tilted the camera just slightly upward to get at least a little bit of sky showing above it...

Thanks everybody! When I lose enough weight, I am going up over the top by the left edge. In a couple months, I will make another hike on this trail and see if I can get farther than this.
