My Ki-43 base fuselage with a "II-Ko" combination of cowling and exhausts. The aircraft represented here display the tail-flash of what I understand was the IJAAF's 1st Chutai, 26th Hiko-Sentai. This unit operated from Palemang airfield, Sumatra, in late 1943.
Rendered in Vue 11 Esprit- the jungle canopy below is a bump applied to a terrain.

Nice. Beautiful work on the Ki-43, Brian! The Jungle looks good too. That's one of my quests, but yours turned our pretty damn nice.

If it wasn't for oil fields we'd have had nothing to fight over....so I suppose we can blame BP for WWII! :-) Stunning image mate, love the 'jungle', very effective...really nice model too. This all comes together in an excellent aerial outing... 10/10

It looks very fine. The Ki-43 looks great. The jungle seams to be a texture and not instanced trees? Well, a good idea. Hehe, neiwil is great. Yeah, we have to blame BP for WW2... LOL... :-)

It's amazing how any of these pilots from any Country found their way back to base looking at that jungle! Great work as always mate! Rob
