Hi - thanks for looking in.
Yes, I ticked the 'Nudity' flag - sorry if you were expecting to see more ;)
Rendered in DAZ Studio 4.5 - minimal postwork. Yup, the SSS & backlighting on the ears, the volumetrics and the indirect lighting were all done in camera, one pass.
This is basically another figure study as I'm continuing to refine some techniques. If you looked at "V5 Nichole Test" - the most recent image I posted - many of the same factors are in play here. The skin is Ubersurface2 with the same SSS techniques, the lighting is Uberenvironment2 with indirect lighting. The SubD'ed cylinder for the background is the same.
In this case I'm using a spotlight for the single light source, with the UberEnv light doing the bounce light. The UE Color is set to all black, so it's just bouncing the rays from the spotlight off the cylinder to illuminate the parts of the figure in shadow.
The only major changes to the skin were some tweaks to the specular and reflection - mostly due to differences in implementation of specular maps between vendors. DAZ has for some reason decided that specular maps must be really, really dark vs. how many others do them, so one needs to move the sliders around a bit. I've also refined the eyes and am getting closer on making the finger and toe nails looking realistic.
First, a resounding endorsement of 'Perfect V4 Complete - Full Body Fix' from Xameva and meipe. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I've tried a lot of products that claimed to fix V4's bend issues and they all worked with varying degrees of success - this one nails it. Thanks! (Just be smarter than me and do the tutorial on initializing the figure *before* you spend half an hour scratching your head and WTF'ing the product - you'll be happy you did)
Skin texture is 'Sisterhood Skin' from Alphaseed (RDNA). Hair is 'Ysaris' from AprilYSH (DAZ). Pose is mostly 'Everyday Elegance' from Elliandra (DAZ) and face morph is from 'Lilith V4' by Rebelmommy (DAZ). Volume camera from 'Atmospheric Effects Cameras for DAZ Studio' by Age of Armour (DAZ).
Everything else by me (yea I just tweak the dials and hit render).
Rendered @ 1236x1599 with high quality settings overall - except max raytrace depth at '1' - took between 18 and 24 hours on the 12 core wintel box.
Post work was limited to my usual apply a copy layer in 'screen' mode, levels, contrast and color adjustment. Titles, frames and copyright completed the image.
I appreciate any comments you'd care to leave, but, as always, constructive critique of the image composition and technique is most welcome.

Very realistic, and the light thru the ears is something I am still trying to achieve, Great job, and a great pose too.

This is really beautiful work - the lighting and use of SSS are exceptional. And thanks for sharing your techniques - I'm not a big user of DS myself but it's all good info!

Looks amazing theSea. I've input those and I'm using it as my go Daz setup for good skin. I've gotten corrected on the setting for subsurface scale and the shade rate, but I like the results, so I'm sticking with it. So thank you! Oh, love the volume too. I haven't figured out how to use those cameras and get a render within a year.
