Description
I finally got something back from the hair tools in Carrara 8 Pro. Here is Mestophales' Manitou with a hairdo. I spent the last three days pulling my own hair out trying to grok these hair tools.

Cool looking effect here I also like the overall look and feel of this render. It reminds me of the type of art you use to see on them old movie posters for thos B horror movies back in the 50's early 60's

You did a wonderful job here, my Friend! I think the outcome is fantastic and was well worth all the hair pulling :) The texture and effect is really something else, and can only imagine not easy to do at all.... you nailed it! I like the background as well!
