With curvaceous petals like unsalted potato chips.
Captured 5/7/12, early morning, somewhere within the vast perimeter of my neighborhood.
Awesomely ZOOM worthy.
A bare minimum of postwork here, with no filters; only some slight contrast manipulation.

Superb clarity in this beautiful rose capture. They make such great subjects don't they as who could see too many of them. I love them so much.

lol about the "unsalted potato chips": Actually they look like sweet potato chips. You say this had little postwork---then your camera work and intuition were pitch perfect. It's a beautiful opulent capture. And unlike the post I just commented on (for June 18th), this is another of your angled shots, showing the wholly different personality of a flower from the side. And your capture of the hues, the light, the succulent curvature of the petals, and the sense of "light from within" in some of those petals, is superb. Beautiful (and your commenters agreed.) If one saw only your roses---not even your other flower series---and they were told that you shoot inimitable car shots, plane shots, reflections on sidewalk shots, decayed padlock shots, and on and on, they'd find it hard to believe, because they'd think you were a flower specialist---and with good reason. A beautiful capture, and yet another beauty in your long-running rose series. A fav.
