Description
A photo of one of my cats taken with my new Canon SX130IS. A gift from Marlboro for playing their "Outwit the West" game. The prize selection stated I was to get an SX120IS, but when I opened the package, I discovered I had been upgraded to the SX130IS. My other camera is a Canon Powershot A530. A 5 megapixel camera. The SX130IS is a 12 megapixel camera. I am enjoying it quite a lot. I need to go on a photo safari now to snag some textures.
I notice my new camera has a feature that will auto trigger the camera if you are using the self timer and the subject winks at the camera. Now that is cool technology. The subject can trigger the camera with a wink when they are ready. WOW!
It will also recognize when a new person enters the frame and trigger the self timer several seconds later. So the photographer is not hurried too much to get into the shot.
That is a lot of technology for a two hundred dollar camera.
