Stockholm Syndrome
Sindrome de Estocolmo

The Stockholm Syndrome (stockholmssyndromet in Swedish) is a psychological response developed by people who are victims of kidnapping. The syndrome develops from the victim attempts to identify with his captor or to gain the sympathy of the kidnapper.

A Síndrome de Estocolmo (Stockholmssyndromet em sueco) é um estado psicológico particular desenvolvido por pessoas que são vítimas de seqüestro. A síndrome se desenvolve a partir de tentativas da vítima de se identificar com seu captor ou de conquistar a simpatia do seqüestrador.

Could be used as a poster for Amnesty International. The dull gray blue coloring adds to the forboding sense of gloom and the ghost like appearance of the captive speaks to the feeling of loss. That bit of glow must be the syndrome manifest. Well done all around. Art that really speeks of the harsh realities of life.
