Description

Scanned photo from a whale watch off Gloucester, MA about 30 years ago. This is the end of my whale tale. As we were getting ready to head back and most of us were packing cameras away, a large humpback stood on his head and waved good by. With everyone yelling, clapping and banging on the side of the boat, he/she held this position long enough for everyone to get a snap off. Great ending for a great day. Always gives me goosebumps when I see an image like this - they are such gorgeous creatures and we are blessed with the Southern Right Wales visiting our coastline from August onwards! Great one Dana! :)
