Description

On July 5th, 1929 my Mom was born, the baby of 15 children. She herself became the mother of 5 children, 4 daughters and 1 son. She experienced the pain of losing one daughter to death, Patsy Jo, when she was only 10 months old. My Mom loved animals, especially cats and male lions. She loved her children with a passion that only a mother can know. To many times Mom did without so that we kids could have what we needed. She was always available when we needed her, no matter what it might be. On April 11, 2002 my Mom died of conjested heart failure. I could not be at her side when she passed. I never knew an emptiness like I felt and still feel when Mom died. Not only was she my Mom, she was my best friend. We shared many wonderful times together. We went to yard sales, flea markets, second hand stores or just sat out on the patio talking the day away. We laughed, we cried and always shared our thoughts, our dreams and stories of our lives. Today is my Mom's birthday. She would have been 79 years old. I remember her with so much love and devotion. Because of my Mom, I knew love, I knew happiness, I knew truth. Because of Mom, I am who I am today. I've been told I am so much like her and I know of no better compliment anyone could give me because she was truly one in a million. I miss you Mom so very much. I miss our talks most of all. I miss hearing your voice, your laughter and I miss your pork chops...LOL.... I miss hugging you and you hugging me. I miss singing with you as we used to do. I miss your beautiful smile and your touch.... I miss so many things Mom. But for as long as I live, you are with me in a different light now for my mind and my heart remember... Happy Birthday Mom. Beautiful dedication and tribute to your mother Marcy. I'm sure she is still watching over you and guiding you on occasion. My late wife Robin passed in 2003 and I'm betting they (Robin & your Mother) are together and pulling strings to guide us together. We'll be seeing them again someday. Hugs and kisses from Dave :^)

wonderful dedication... I lost my Mom in 2001... she was at hospice. I had my head on her heart and heard her last two beats... It's better to remember them at their best...in a weird kind a way, your lucky you weren't there.

You tribute to your lovely Mum brought tears to my eyes. I lost my wonderful Mum Jan.2004 , she died from pancreatic cancer. We will NEVER forget our Mum's my friend.
