The Professor had gotten funding from his university to explore some strange anomalies in the ocean near his country. He isn't the best navigator, nor is his body guard. After wandering around on the open seas for several weeks getting more lost by the day, the Professor and his bodyguard have discovered a previously uncharted island. Their first big discovery upon exploring the island is a huge pyramid situated on a vast plain in the center of the island. After some explorations inside, they find this mysterious craft in one of the subterranean chambers. The Professor accidently bumps one of the buttons on the console and in a blinding flash, they find themselves outside the pyramid along with this strange vehicle. Gee, I wonder what other kinds of mischief the bumbling professor will get our two intrepid adventurers into?
