Description
A new formula in the works :-)
This is my first try with the beta. Essentially it contains popular loops (Mandelbrot, Talis, my Lambda , etc...) which are processed through Sam Monnier's glyph algorithms. Used judiciously, one can get some interesting effects, which I think you can see in the curvilinear distortion and faux perspective in this classic Julia image. The formula is called "Spiroglyphics" and I am hoping to upload it soon. Stay tuned, UF users...
I intend to dedicate the formula to Terry Wright and Tim Hodkinson for their untiring efforts to publicize UF in their blog. I am not an award-winning poet like Terry, but I composed a few lines of doggerel in their honor:
"They put it on the server,
their rants of righteous fervor,
caring not what innocents might fall,
In strident tones of hate,
they shout before the gate,
hoping that the masses heed their call,
'Tis a shame they cannot see,
that their source of misery,
lies within and will not yield to their spar,
It seems they do not know,
that great law of karmic flow:
that where e'er you go,
well, there you are."
Done in UF, the mother of all fractal programs...
