Description

"Don't ya just hate when ya can't do a thing with your whiskers?"

Florida Panther handpainted from scratch in Photoshop 6 and Painter 7 (for the fur effect) and a Wacom Intuos2 tablet. Background created in Painter using Jungle 3D nozzles from DigiArts.

Very very impressive Shadow. Animals such as any of the big cat family are a real challenge to the skills of ANY artist, 2D or 3D, even with a Wacom Intuos2 tablet - which by the way - you must write and tell me what you think of their new tablet.

Good expression work. For like, the first time ever, I see a cat properly expressed; most make the mistake of adding a "frown" which is a human trait, not a cat one. I like this, it's technically well done. I might suggest loosening up a bit, for an experiment. Your strokes are tight and controlled, and it looks quite nice, but you should put some of your considerable talent into a piece that's a bit "wilder" sometime, just for fun. Good work, I like this piece.
