Description

wandering the wild garden of Claire’”small paradise”, “somewhere in the Cevennes”…. discovering the microworld of the grass… The European cousin of Lee’s grasshopper : thumb_1513985.jpg "Albino Grasshopper" The Grasshoppers have antennae that are almost always shorter than the body. The most important family is Acrididae, consisting of about 10,000 species… !

What I like so much about this series is not directly the captures (which are, of course, superb) but the way you walked there, paying attention on all those small things that normally don't make part of everyday "reality" (which is nothing but an arbitrary choice, based upon survival instinct). There's something mystic in this way of "changing scale".

Half a world away from each other and yet so similar. Great shot of this little guy. Thanks for the "plug" and for sharing. Lee
