Cool modelling, I like the sleekness and it's ability to defend itself. Nice work indeed!

Thanks, the backstory is 2580, colonies in the Perseus Arm region of the galaxy emerge from being isolated from the Orion Arm homeworlds (Earth), after a long Dark-age of war between Corporations and Military many Factions arise to form prominent Governments. A Large faction called the "Solarian Republic" is attempting to overtake the Independant factions, however there is a greater Evil called the "Red Kings" that could overcome the Perseus colonies if they had a stong leader to unite them. The Corona Empiri is a multi-system Faction allied with 2 other small factions called the United Alliance and the Command Federation. However an apparent Corona backed Piracy organization is hurting Command Federation's trade routes... the allies become wary of each other and diplomacy fails... The Corona Blade was secretly built as aggression increases as a last hope to deter the ComFed from going hostile against the Empiri. But this is only the beginning... (not going to give away the story) You can see the other factions Starships in my gallery, Enjoy! Glad you like my designs.

lol... I try not to Jeff. I seem to get recruited for some kind of non-paying crusade every time I upload there. I had to tighten up my reigns and now I'm just working on a few friends projects and finally getting my own personal project on the roll (instead of being on the backburner all the time) But yeah, its a kewl site, I go there to help motivate if I'm stuck on an idea.

Looks great. Do you know anything about modeling in shade 8.5?

Thank Nic, glad to be back... thanks, and sorry no, I've never used shade, but if you can extrude a cylinders faces, then you are well on your way to making Anime spaceships like this. I typically use Boolean cutting and bevels on these models.

Good to see you are still out there flying your ships through the friendly (andnot so friendly) skies! I like your ship design. Your earlier ships often reminded me of guns but this one has more of a sword-like shape - very cool.
