Description

First mojo 3 render, so much to explore with all the new components of this version compared to 2, so I thought it was best to take a look at Slav's excellent Dalirium world created using Dmytry's volumetrics plugin and found this cool little spot. I also wanted to test how easy it was apply ground based meshes to a volumetric surface . I notice a little banding has occured in the sky. Rendered with full shadows and volumetric shadows. Thanks to Bob Buttery and Mo Thanks for viewing

Love it. Very alien Sci-Fi. At his resolution, I can't see the banding, but I'm sure that's just from the re-size. Good job!

A really nice scene and I like the creatures too. I can't see banding here at this resolution. Banding is usually a lot worse with plain skys or foggy scenes and is made worse by either increasing the contrast or converting to a monochrome image. The only work-around that I have found is to introduce a little noise into the image in Photoshop. A small amount of noise will break up the banding and is hardly noticeable on high resolution pictures. Great work - Bravo!
