Oh Mina, I know you long for winter, I don't, but I don't live in Florida. Anyhow, your image is filled with the best and most beautiful winter gives us. Snow crystals and white beauty. Just awesome with a geat background!!

well I live in Chicago and winter definitely makes an appearance! (You wanna change places? We got wind-chills too...) A beautiful winter night image (or late January day) with just the right pale-blues and all those white lights...The figure is beautifully lit, your trees & branches are always beautiful, and the foreground bush (lower right corner) is luminous, a beautiful touch & balance to the huge looming moon. When you work with singular palettes, you always 'get' them. No matter what hue-family, you get them. You understand them. I even love the signature's shadow: class act. I've tried to imitate your work, just to learn: Fuggeddabbouddit. I just can't get it. A lovely evocation. I'll check out capelito's gallery too... (oh, and I forgot to say yesterday: The portrait of your daughter was beautiful; I'd have guessed she was yours immediately...the resemblance is striking.)

The wind just swirled some leaves off the trees here and a bit bit of rain fell. That tells me something is not going to happen. Your image is mid-winter when it is quiet and soft out. The cold has become a friend. Even a bizzard with three foot drifts and blowing snow is just an excuse to exert a bit.

This is gorgeous! You make me think winter might be a beautiful, soft thing. Out here it's four days at a time of snow, which melts a little during the day and forms an ice sheet the second the sun goes down, and then nobody can drive anywhere safely. Fortunately it doesn't stay cold for long, and that never lasts even a week. I'll take your gorgeous version any day! :)

Ugh, tell me about it, just when I thought it was starting to get a little cooler in Florida, we got another heat wave. =.= I'll be glad when December gets here, even though last year I was wearing a tank top while putting Christmas decorations up!!
