Cette image c'est un hommage à la ville que j'aime plus dans le tout le monde, Paris, et à une nation que j'aime au méme niveau, la France. Pardonnez mon français :)
This image is a tribute to what is, for me, the most beautiful city in the world, Paris, and to a nation that I love very much, France. And a tribute, also, to all the fellow Brycers for the real good time I'm having since I'm a R'osity member :)
It's not at all an attempt at realism: I took the Métro Station of "Pelleport" as reference and changed materials, settings and, of course, the name of the station itself.
Being a tribute to Brycers, I wanted to do it in Bryce only, so I modelled everything with booleans without importing "external" meshes. But, at the end, I had to give up and use Poser for the people and Elefont for the lettering.
Some info/tech details: Rendered at 1100x880 with premium effects (Soft Shadows and DOF with radius 0,01] at 36 rpp, it took 70 hours to render on my New One. Postwork (color correction, softening filter, blurring of the train) in PS7.
Ok. Enough babbling for now. Thanx for stopping by and, as usual, any comments and/or criticism are more than welcome.
Have a great weekend.
--- Stefano ---

You have your own style to illuminate a scene in Bryce. Congratulation... (postscript : thanks for your kind words on my country ;0)

I read some of the 3Dmags and they say that poser and bryce are low level apps this just shows that a real artist can use anything he or she is given excellent image O and it's nice to see that everybody isn't controled by the boob tube

You have captured the unique lighting of a subway station very nicely. Love the way everything seems to glow too. Excellent work.

I am always surprised at the delightfulness of your images, and the unexpected subject matter and how it is presented. Always fresh, well composed, but with something new to make one contemplate.

HEY STEFANO, ILOVE YOUR USE OF LIGHTING. THE CAMERA ANGLE BRINGS THE PICTURE TO LIFE, AND THE SENSE OF MOTION CAUSED BY THE TRAIN PASSING THROUGH IS FANTASTIC.
Bambam131 () 1:04PM | Thu, 01 May 2003
Soft and dreamy! The image speaks for its self! The colors, lighting and shadowing really sets this image off. You can almost feel the movement as people and train passes by. You have a way of capturing the moment in time perfectly. Excellent my friend! ;-)
