Subject: Versatile Texture/Shader Set for La Femme and L'Homme

Iuvenis_Scriptor ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2021 at 3:36 PM · edited Thu, 21 March 2024 at 6:19 AM

My texture/shader set for La Femme should be ready for beta-testing very soon! Although a character morph is provided, it is only a token or sample and definitely not the focus. This pack is not principally intended as a single character, but rather as a versatile base for more easily and conveniently generating diverse characters. Its main selling point is that many material settings can be controlled via parameter dials in the same way that morphs are. Features like skin color, hair color, eyebrow thickness, distribution of freckles, and more can be set by spinning dials rather than applying any fixed presets. There are even dials for more technical stuff like SSS radius, specular falloff, etc for those who want an extra level of control. The same textures, shaders, and dial-able settings can also be applied to L'Homme (including his conforming genitalia), with a few material options specifically intended for male characters, such as a parameter that toggles facial stubble on and off.

If you're interested, please either respond to this thread or PM me, and I'll send you a download link as soon as its ready. Constructive critique regarding photo-realism will be especially appreciated. Thanks in advance!
