Subject: How to turn off the error reporting in Max 2013 design

DreamlandModels ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2013 at 11:15 PM · edited Mon, 25 March 2024 at 12:05 PM

I know there is a file in the root that will disable the error reporting thing but I can't remember which one to rename.

Help here would be nice.

That error reporting system is pointless for me the end user, as I have not one time in the 12 years I have been using max, had anyone contact me with a solution. it just wastes my time.

I'm not entirely sure about 2013, but in 3dsmax 2012, there's a file called SendDmp.exe in the root directory.  Just rename this to something else, like SendDmp.exe.old.
