You could try changing the master scale dial so that it is locked at the scale you have set... right click on the scale dial, go into settings, and make both the Min Limit and Max Limit the same number, in this case, 40. That should lock them at the size you need
Thread: A Way to Reverse Displacement- Indent Instead of Protrude? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, I use displacement a lot. A lot, a lot. So hear me out.
Displacement can raise or indent from the same map. Grey is the middle value, or flat. White raises the mesh. Black indents. Numerical value does matter, but try inverting the white in your map in an image editor. It will work
Thread: M4 skin ---> V4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Zombie thread. Sorry for the revival, but Im trying this method and getting an error: Incompatable facet structure. I also get an error loading the material library when i try to load M4.
I followed the step exactly, but thats what I get. Ant ideas?

To use the Render Queue, does Poser need to be installed on each machine you want to use?

Open your Poser.ini found in your settings normally in
AppData/Roaming/Poser Pro/ "Version of Poser"
Open the Poser.ini with Preferable Notepad ++ Free software. Activate in search Incremental search ! search for the line
LIBRARY_IS_AIR 0 and replace with LIBRARY_IS_AIR 1
LIBRARY_EMBEDDED_TYPE 0 and replace to LIBRARY_EMBEDDED_TYPE 1
the second might vary and makes no difference once you made the changes it will always drop to type 1 ... save your changes and your library will work again.
Thanks for the quick fix! worked like a charm!
Thread: Fur suits for M4 and V4 based werewolves | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, I have a fairly robust system and I'm rendering in firefly. I want the fur to look as good as possible, but Im no dynamic hair wizard.
I've thought of making a fursuit using zbrush fibermesh, but I've not had the best of luck so far...

Scene from issue 10 of my webcomic. Totally out of context, I just really like the way it turned out. Sasha 16 bends like a dream....

Have I ever mentioned I love werewolves? Cause I love werewolves....
Old scene I put together back in 2012. Werewolves are Genesis made Poser native with a RIDICULOUS amount of Dynamic hair.

Probably the odd man out here, But I'd like to see Firefly upgraded so that indirect light and subsurface scattered aren't separate calculations.
Or, speed up Superfly and add in mircopolygonal displacement.
I don't know if this is even possible, but I'd like it if materials with a negative ambient value absorbed or dimmed existing lighting.
Really just spitballing thing I'd find useful...

So, now that I got the Batman render out of my system.... I've been updating Knyghtmare! Actually, I've updated the whole cast, but lets concentrate on Mr. Scary, shall we?
The Knyghtmare's 'suit' is made with displacement, so I refined and smoothed his displacement maps. I've added scratches to the prop elements, and worked with the bump maps to try and get everything matching. Harder than it sounds.
There is a subtle painted shadow under his chest horns to help them pop. I also resculted the chest horns a bit to get them to have a better highlight.
...and thats just METAL.
All the spikes are displaced. I'm pretty pleased with how he looks now.
