Dark Senshi Kuro-chan

The first time I met her was in a moonless night, amid an eerie and forlorn alley. While the dim brightness of the lone undamaged lantern could barely win against the gloomy fog enshrouding the scenery, her youthful figure was clearly illuminated by the purplish glow of her magical runes.

I will never forget her eyes that looked at me with calm curiosity as I rushed into the alley and came to an abrupt halt when I realized that the woman I intended to help needed no help.

A heartbeat later, she was gone, transported away by her magic, leaving me alone in a lonesome alley.
