Renderosity Embraces Online 3D Community

tim · October 10, 2000 4:43 pm

Recent technological advances in the Renderosity ad server allows us to make a unique contribution to the online 3D community. Effective today, Renderosity will dedicate a portion of its unsold banner ads to promoting the online 3D community at large. Operators of significant portal sites dedicated to promoting the 3D community are invited to submit their banner ads and associated URLs to admin@renderosity.com. The standard 468x60 banner sizes will be required. As a show of good faith following the recent community wars, this offer is especially extended to the 3D Commune and the PFO.
Other Renderosity members can also benefit from the 120,000 highly targeted page views this site generates on a daily basis. Start driving traffic to your web site in minutes at the limited time price of $3 per thousand banner ad impressions. It just doesn't get any better than this. Test your banner creative with a small campaign. Once a campaign is complete, you will automatically receive an email detailing the number of impressions, click-thrus, and click-thru percentage. Use this information to remove the risk from a larger campaign in the future. Click the 'Advertise your site now!' button on the right side-bar to start building traffic to your site.

The ad server works great! I have been recovering from a 3 week bout with borderline pneumonia and haven't had much chance to update the site. The banner ad was a great way to generate new traffic. I'm going to use it a lot more

If we really want to embrace the online community... then we should go back to letting visitors view the galleries without requiring a membership. If they had required joining before you could view them when i first stopped in... I would have moved on without stopping. I wonder how many other current members joined the same way?

Me thinks Sherman's right. If I was asked to join so that I could view them pics I'm afraid alt-F4 would have been my course of action. Sad but true
