Below Peggy (aka P3D-Art) tells us what Renderosity has meant to her:
My first steps at Renderosity, all I did was browse around the galleries loving what great art I saw. Thinking to myself 'How do they do that? I so want to learn to do that." and I didn't have a clue who Victoria was that everybody was talking about in the store. All those lovely girls and cool outfits, "product requires V4" *lol* Then I figured it out and came to discover Poser. I really needed that program to create any digital art and to stop me from growling.
In 2007 my Hubby gave me my first Poser software for my Birthday, and then the addiction started. I decided to be a brave girl and uploaded my first piece of art. Man, it was realy ugly and thinking no-one must like this. Then I got email someone had posted a comment: "Beautiful first render, Welcome to Renderosity." Wowser... somebody actualy liked it and I was happy like a child. Then I recieved my first couple of friend requests. "Someone from America wants to be friends with me, and someone from Germany. Now someone who lives in Argentina!!!" I yelled at my hubby. It gave me the support to create more, and also the sweet comments grew. But I wanted to be better like all the other great artists who's art I loved and spent hours with Poser and Renderosity. Then I hit the art-charts for the first time and other Renderosity members started to ask me advice. Whoaaa... I was still learning myself and now others like to have MY advice! Then I started to be surprised by vendors with gifts and products. I really can't explain how it felt being supported this way, but it sure felt good!! (and still does).
Then I wanted even more than just creating art: I wanted to develop and purchased my first fabric resource. I wrote Renderosity and told them I would love to become a vendor and asked what I had to do to become one. These days I hope they never regret that, because I ask everything anytime I don't understand a thing :) I had the courage to ask help from, in my eyes, the greatest vendors and whoever I asked everybody was always supportive and willing to help. And so my first product came into store ... and it actualy sold!
And that is what Renderosity is: not just a store, not just a gallery. Renderosity unites the world in the beauty of any kind of art. Friends become real friends and over the years you really feel like you know each other, no matter what part of the world you are. The Renderosity team is always willing to help in any way. Learning, sharing, receiving, support and surprises. That is what you get here at Renderosity and makes me a proud member of Renderosity from day 1!!
Bows and a big thank you to all who have supported and helped me, liking my art and purchased my products over the years and still do ... You all made me what I am today: A greater artist and proud vendor! I won't mention names because there are so many and I don't want to forget any :)
