Creating your Terrain

First of all, switch your view to camera view. It's easier to set up and you don't accidentally select it in your scene.

Start with the Create palette. Select the basic terrain.

Good idea! I have used terrains for very large waves before, but I hadn't thought of this. I've always wanted to be able to make rougher seas. Thanks!

Neat trick and thank-you. While I'm here ! I'm looking to create a fountain. How do I get Jet streams of water shooting into the sky. Las Vagus style. I would appreciate your feedback if at all possible. Again thank-you for the above.
