This is a tutorial designed to show you one possible way to make a "splat" that can be hung in the sky for moons or planets.

Part 2, Step 1, Hanging the moon in the sky (Basic Setup)

Ok, basic stuff here, you of course will have a whole different scene of your own.

1.)  I opened up a blank scene.
2.)  Turned on the realistic sky, turned off ambient light, I fussed with the clouds (because that's just what I do).
3.)  Put in a sun light.
4.)  Turned off the "Enable Ground" ground option in the realistic sky editor.
5.)  Dropped in my own infinite plane and put my favorite water shader on it.

Kixum; great tut, I'm going to have to try some variations, but an altogether straight forward presentation. Thanks
