When using Puppy Ray for rendering endless landscapes, or 3D modeler filter for shaping the patch of land, or other effects such as displacement of one image by another, compositing and more, you'll have two separate image assets, and instead of saving each separately as two parallel PNG or Jpeg images (or other formats), you may want them kept together in a single image file. That will allow to easily re-open the images together and get back to work with it. This tutorial shows how easy it is to save more than the layers, by saving to the layered format. It also saves the Swap iamge and the alpha channel (global selection mask).staigermanus on 6:52PM Sun, 06 August 2017

This is just a basic tutorial on how to save poses in Daz Studio. Someone on the HW forums had been asking how to do this, and it was written to help them out. After some thought, I figured that it might be of some help to other people, so I've gotten my forum post converted to a PDF file and I'm offering it out to the general public. If you find it useful, that's great. It's aimed at the beginner content creator, or just the novice who wants to save that really cool pose they did for future use. File is a zip file containing a single PDF.

In this tutorial, we model a sphericon pendant in Blender 2.76. This is a companion video to my latest 3dsmax tutorial of the same. I will attempt to translate the modeling strategy in Blender, to create an object which could be used in 3d printing, or as a unique design element, like a jewelry prop or sculpture, to be rendered in a scene.
This video is a companion tutorial based on my previous 3dsmax video of the same object, in which we will model this complex mathematical sculpture for use as a digital render asset, or for 3d printing. The techniques used here are directly translated to Blender from the techniques I developed in 3dsmax. Be sure you have the Loop Tools addon enabled for this tutorial. I have the Pie Menu, and Dynamic Spacebar Menu addon enabled, but they are not necessary to complete this exercise. As always, thank you for watching, and please don't forget to Like this video, and subscribe to my channel for many more. Enjoy.
There are a number of significant improvements and changes from the UI of iClone 5 to iClone 6. iClone 6 features increased functionality and customization based on your unique workflow, as well as more freedom to determine the appearance, resolution, and color scheme of your workplace and create custom virtual folders for easier access to your own custom categories of content. Check out this tutorial for more info on those topics and more!
This, my latest tutorial, illustrates a step-by-step process to creating a stunning, complex mathematical sculpture. I call it an Octo-Star, because it begins with a 8-point tetrahedron compound primitive. This is a manifold object; ideal for 3d printing, jewelry, or architectural design. The application of this process is limited only by your imagination. No plugins or addons are required. An intermediate knowledge of polygon modeling is recommended.
