Using Marvelous Designer with Poser

Skill Level: Intermediate / Views: 1562 / System Requirements: Poser 9+, Marvelous Designer 2+

This tutorial is designed to get your avatar out of Poser and into Marvelous Designer, show you how to repose your figure in Marvelous Designer, then export your finished clothing out of Marvelous Designer and into Poser for rendering.

Preparing your avatar in Poser (Step 1)

This tutorial will be using Victoria 4 (V4) as the base, but this should work with any figure even a non-person figure. Ensure V4 is in her standard "T" stance as this is what you will likely want to initially use for wrapping the clothing on in Marvelous Designer (MD).

Spent the best part of a week trying everything under the sun to get poser -> md -> poser working, but had failed miserably. Your instructions worked perfectly. Many thanks :-)

Important tip: turn "Include Rigging" ON, not off like this tutorial says.Collada import into MD can actually be posed in MD if you include the rigging.

I believe there are free attachment points available somewhere, unfortunately I can't seem to find the link.  You should be able to find them with a bit of searching the Marvelous Designer forums.
