Meet Zharien - mild-mannered manager of an up-scale clothing boutique during the day. But at night..... Well, you'll just have to wait and see...
Here she's just arrived at the boutique early in the morning to get things ready for the big sale this weekend.
Zharien is the latest beauty by my pal Jenny (Pixeluna) over at DAZ. She's a real beauty, Lil' Sis! Just wait until you see her 'other' side...
It's been a bit of a dry spell (figuratively speaking, I mean - it's been snow, freezing rain, rain, sleet, drizzle, freezing fog, more snow, arctic temps, still more snow, more rain, etc, etc, ad infinium, ad nauseum..) for a while, but I'll have more soon including the next T.N.A. page. I've got several projects going as usual (how did I ever have time for a job??). Plus I've been fighting off a touch of whatever crud is circulating, plus a bit of depression brought on with all this crappy weather. I'm sooo ready for spring..
I'll be attending a webinar Sunday at Digital Art Live called "Visual Narratives." It's kind of a community get-together for digital artists, with an emphasis on telling stories with your art. This is a monthly webinar, and they are always fun and informative. I may be talking a bit and showing off some of my art for the TNA series. It's free unless you want to pay 15.00 for the HD recording. You can get more info HERE.
ED NOTE: 02-24-19: The Webinar mentioned above has been postponed indefinitely due to not enough sign-ups to make it viable. I'll let you know when / if it is rescheduled.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and staying warm and dry!
As always, thanks so much for dropping by, and for all your support and friendships! They keep me going!

Hey maybe she can sell the TNA clothing in that shop. What a looker she is Rod. You have many beauties my friend. Sounds like your learning new things on these sites.
Our cold snowy weather is not even close to yours my friend. Hope you have a fireplace to use for you and Jo. Stay Warm I Hope.
That's a great looking scene Rod, that boutique renders out really nice! But yuck...retail. I was a manager at Sears before the store went flat, and that's not a thing I'd want to do ever again. I hope whatever she does at night makes up for it.
Winter, yeah, I am so over it already, and we have another 2 months to go here yet. It finally warmed up here to 3F today. a couple of days ago it was -20F.
LOL I think I'm the only one who knows her secret, just because you have mentioned it on your email. Thank you for the beautiful render and presentation, Big Bro. I really love the outfit and her pose, she really is a great clothing store manager as she can show off her own clothes by modeling them. :-)
I really like this look, Rod. It is a step closer to reality than what we find in your normal TNA postings, but I think it might work well with your characters. It's just a thought. Your style works great as is, and if you're happy, then we (your fans) are happy (LOL)!!! Keep up the good work and remember Spring is just around the corner. . . you know, about the same time our taxes are due (ugh!)
Nice image Rod! She looks like a very sweet and mild mannered young woman.....the type of person you would find working in a library (a librarian)......sooooo that being said.....I'm very curious to know what her 'night' job might be!!?? 'lol'!!! I likey!!
So are you telling us that she looks like one of those sweet, quiet, conservative gals during the day, while at night transforms into a wild, sexy tigress :) Boy, looks can be deceiving--the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. Look forward to the transformation. Nice work on the scene--love that little dress shop.
Cheer up, spring really is just around the corner...weather has been sucky in NYC too...so little sun, maybe one day in 7-10 that it's sunny--my house plants are even suffering for the lack of sunlight :(
well you've definitely peaked the curiosity of your fans! This is a classy boutique manager: Full size, we can see how classily she stands, she seems very self-contained and in charge, the fine hewn details on her outfit is subtle and very fine. And I like that much of it is in shadow, because this is pre-opening; I love the quiet sheen on her outfit. (I was in retail for years, and I know this light: This is exactly what a store looks like pre-opening: You got the light in the store, and on her, perfectly.) Also, she stands like someone who works with fashion...I see a picture of a model behind her; but there's another model on our right---she looks real! Kind of big---I wouldn't want to piss her off---but it's impressive to see her in the shadows back there. (And I see patreon on the screen!) You've been posting pieces with lots of darker light and shadows; and you've handled them very organically. They really set moods, and they're natural as can be. Really well done, Rod, it's a very musical image.
(And re the weather, and how it's getting to you: If someone came to your place and dumped tons of ice and water on your floor, you'd be ripped as hell, and you'd probably call the police! But the sky dumps tons and tons of ice and water all over whole counties, and no one does a thing! There are courts, for god's sake: Someone call a lawyer! What---no fines??? The wind right now---in the windy city---is about 200 miles per hour; and I gotta go out in 20 minutes. ((I've talked to the sky, I've sent it warnings---nothin'. Nada.) Well, enjoy the webinar; and I'll look forward to what you do with Zharien again...)
😆😂 Yeah, darn that ornery old sky..... It's just getting even with me for shooting all those rockets at it when I was a kid... I don't know why it's picking on me, though... There's lots of folks with bigger rockets it could pick on! 😂
Dang - with winds like that, you could just grab a sheet and a skateboard and save a ton on gas! As long as it's blowing AWAY from the lake! 😜
