Description
Well, decided to work on the alien a bit more. Still needs lots of texture detailing, but otherwise I think came out quite good. Would like to have modeled lots more detail into it, but it would be too high res I think. I do like how it is coming out though. The rig for the most part is done, just some tweaking and such.

WICKED looking critters! Those double claws on the hands are really vicious looking tools! Shaping up to be a nice (can you apply that to Aliens?) looking set!

Too human of a Pose? yes, but that's irrelevant as it will most likely change and this was for showing off purposes only. On another note, do you plan on doing any of the other versions, or possibly concept ones? the final "Alien" form is highly determinate on what host a face-hugger latches onto. This would of be if the host was human. Remember the 3rd movie on the prison planet? The host was a dog, and the alien for was different and it ran on all fours most the time. And can't forget the Alien vs Predator, and the Raquiem movies (even tho I'd rather forget the latter), the host was a Predator. Would be interesting to see what would happen if the host was a lion, or bear, or hell, go way out there and see what would come from the host being Yoda (even tho I doubt a face hugger could come close to him, and yes I AM that big of nerd!) lol Just rambling on here as it's early, I'm on my 4th cup of coffee, and have nothing better to do... And I will leave it at this since it's a comment and not a forum post... (I forgot :o)

Great work again ! In my comment for your previous picture , I have said "plantigrade" when I thought "digitigrade", sorry for that ! :-) I think that this version of the alien is more terrific with this digitigrade anatomy than your previous one !

Aw man, this is a beautiful model! Absolutely love the details and shinyness! The legs and feet are amazing as well, same with the tail and head, heck, the whole model is wonderful lol. Cant wait till I can use this beauty myself! Keep up the great work, I hope that eventually I can make models as amazing as yours!
