Description

New render of my last post incorporating suggestions of strata and pakled. Probably still not dirty enough for your tastes but this is a relatively clean area on the aircraft. Hand is from Poser, hairs from Hair Dept plug-in. This render fixes the collision problem pointed out by 3d_Explorer. I have deleted my original post which is same scene without the hand and much cleaner. The description of the scene from the first post is repeated here: "A type 26003A flameproof made by several different manufacturers. I understand that the Luftwaffe had an identical design which brings up the question who copied who? Perhaps there was a common source for both countries. The setting is the radioman's position on a TBM-3. The skin of the aircraft is seen at the left and the cable leads to an ART-13 transmitter. Having the actual key was a big help in modeling it. I understand it was salvaged from the aircraft graveyard at NAS Kahului (now OGG) in the late 40's."
