I wanted to make a scene that conceptually represented what I feel when I'm modeling new furniture pieces or sculptures in 3dsmax, and how I perceive hard-surface (and to some degree, organic) modeling in this revolutionary new era of 3D printing, and higher resolution model design. Even models being created for games these days can be much more detailed on the geometry level, and contain far more triangles than just a few years ago. It's an exciting and liberating time to be a digital designer.
