I've been working on this Blender model of what Road & Track described as "one of the weirder sleepers to come out of the 1980s", and learning a fair amount as I go along. While it's still a work in progress, I'm pleasantly surprised at how the provisional render has turned out, given the mesh still needs a lot more refining. Rendered in DS iRay 4.12 with no postwork.
