Description

Hmm been a while since the last update, I have been busy doing a commision (Game art), and still have a bit to go, I took a small break and did this today.

Very nice figure- particularly the shading for the skin! The diffuse background also keeps focus on the character- a well made drawing indeed!

Excellent image and coloring. The pose strikes me as being a little odd. The feet, legs and torso seem to be in a fighting stance, but the right arm and hand are in an "explaning" pose, the left arm is in a relaxed pose except for the curl of the fingers. Most likely it is just my weird take on life and she is just perfectly happy doing what she is doing. (LOL)

Yes...her pose is a little out of character for the environment she's in! Putting her in the freezing mountains with only a swimsuit would be a certain death sentence!!! LOL At the very least, she should have her arms wrapped around herself and legs tight together to conserve body heat! ...and there would probably be a great deal of shivering!!! LOL One other thing I've noticed over the years that female swimwear typically has a crotch lining that goes a long way toward minimizing or eliminating 'camel toe!' LOL Just thought that you might interested in that little detail!!! LOL Other than that...your light reflections on her hair, eyes and lips are well coordinated with the light areas of her skin! Her cheek blush is very cute!!! Overall a very nice job from lineart to coloring!!! I've also noticed that recently, you've been giving your girls slightly larger, rounder noses. Not that that is bad! It makes them very cute "girl next doorish!" Has this been a part of your plan? Or just the way they've been coming out, lately? Either way...this is Excellent work, Mat!!! :)

A good looking picture. My only comment is that her left knee isn't pointed the same direction as her left foot. While the shin and ankle can twist a little, they can't be that far apart without something being wrong. Try it yourself and you'll see what I mean. Nice work on the colors, though.

Aw year... hmmm it's a bit of a stretch. but I can do it, but it wouldn't be natural and relaxed, which is what I was going for.
