Description

I took a short walk around the pond today. I didn't stay out long because of the heat but I did manage to get a couple of insect photos. This is a female Widow Skimmer. I had some doubts about the species because this specimen had unusually large black markings on the wing tips, I had never seen this before, lol. My thanks to those who the the time to comment. The response is appreciated. Lee
