Description

So as you can image this image is fairly render intensive--with my current processor I am used to no more than 10-20 seconds per frame doing animation on average. This one took roughly 2 and half minutes per frame. This made me doubly pissed when the damned thing finally finished and an error popped up that said SAVE FOR MOVIE FAILED... *bangs head on wall* Can someone please tell me why this is not saving? I am using DAZ 3.1 to animate on 32 bit...My hubby thinks I should try rendering on a 64 bit version of DAZ due to all the surface shaders used in the scene... All help, or direction to any help, would be appreciated...

I Feel Your Pain and Understand Your Frustration, I Cannot Save Movies Made In Daz3 Studio Advance Either, Mine Gives Me A Message "The render could not be saved, Close any Other programs using the file and try again, or choose a new file name." I Contacted Daz About This and They Had Not Heard Of This Problem, But Suggested It May Be A "Codec" Issue. I Can Save Them On My Old Computer, But I Dont Have Much Daz Content On It, Dont Know If This Helps You Or Not, So Good-Luck and I Hope You Can Start Saving Movies Soon. ;~) I Make Little Gif Animations Now To Upload To Rendosity Instead.

Well I hate to be caught out siding with the male of the species but he may be right, unless there is a bug in the system, as Darren suggest. I don't know DAZ or do animation but I can tell you that moving from a 32 to a 64 bit systems had made my renders zing fast and the stability of the environment for complex renders is worth the price of the new system by itself.
