There are 108 maps for the creature weighing in at 217 megs. Each one made just to fit him... Do you want the eye? JesterCGI

The eye needs some rework. With all of the detail and depth of the surrounding skin texture. The eye look flat and painted in. The pupil seems flat and not an opening to a black void behind. The ring around the Iris is too even, prenounced and lookes like a drawn circle. The iris texture is too washed out and ill difined. Now in a animation where the eye is not going to be in close focus the detail is OK. But comparing it to the rest of the texturing, it falls short.

Too True. It was never meant to be seen this close. And we never see it still in the movie. The color was modeled after the Raptor eye from Jurassic Park (I have one sitting in front of me now) Thanks!

you know what might be fun here, u might put some little tiny fish swimming infront of the monster so to make it look even bigger. also, u might want to tone down the light just a little...I'm nitpicking here, it's absolutely incredible. have fun w/ it!!
