Truly astounding work, and I know how unforgiving Max can be! Well worth every second of effort, and the lighting I think is what really dialed this in. Is this the default Max renderer or MR? Superb artwork!

Congratulations! Some (especially upper:) parts of the image could not be recognized from a photo. I don`t know the previous version but anyway, I see there was great amount of work in it:)

Amazing. Such strides towards realism it makes you take a double take but it also has a soft painterly quality to it. You should take a lot of pride in this creation.

Thanks for your comments guys!!! hey Shardz, the renderer used was vray. The grass and the tree trunks have the vray displacement, the whole scene is highly detailed.

Very cool. Maybe next, have a couple of Thai/Indonesian children splashing and playing in the pool. Or, some village woman, beating and cleaning clothes or bathing (but not in a sexual way, like they do on the Ganges in India we all see pics of) by the edge of the pool. It would also show scale.
